01. Do I have to pay to appear at the top of a Google
Search?
Contrary to popular belief, ranking first in Google has nothing to do with money! Put
simply, you can’t pay to be first. While large marketing budgets help when it comes to
SEO, as you can do more, it doesn’t guarantee results. More specialist sites, or
sites creating great content can often outrank bigger companies.
All major search engines offer paid advertising models, where you can pay to appear
higher in the paid results, but these have no impact on the natural search results.
02. Do you only use Google AdWords?
While the majority of PPC clients will make use of AdWords, it is not the only
advertising platform out there and certainly isn’t always the most effective. We are
experienced in using all sorts of PPC services, such as Facebook Advertising, LinkedIn
Advertising and Paid Stumbles, to name but a few.
We will help you find the correct advertising platform for what you’re trying to
achieve.
03. How long will it take to see results?
This is a very tough question, as all projects are different and timeframes may often
be out of our control (for example, a client’s developer may have no time to work on our
recommendations). Our stock answer is that within the first 60 days from the start of
the projects, most, if not all, clients will have seen a noticeable improvement.
We always like to tackle the quick win items first so that the project
starts to pay for itself almost immediately; so that most clients start to results
quicker.
04. What software do you use?
We have a number of software licences for industry-leading tools. We tend not to
use a single tool or a standard set of tools, as it is much better for us to use the
best tools for each different job, rather than just the one we happen to have access to.
05. What are keywords?
Keywords are the words and phrases that searchers use (usually with search engines) to
find
relevant pages, images, videos, or any kind of information when looking for answers,
knowledge, products, or services. SEO specialists and professionals consider keywords
and the topics
they suggest when optimizing content for search.
06. Can social media marketing really help my business?
Most definitely! It’s been proven time and again by most business. In fact,
not utilizing social media marketing can actually harm your business. This is because
having an
online presence on social media is highly expected of any reputable firm/brand these
days.
07. Can I start and stop SEO Services as I go?
We strongly advise against starting and stopping Search Engine Optimization. SEO is not
a sprint, it is a marathon, and results take time to develop and it's through continual
efforts that those results keep developing and maturing. By stopping, you will lose
results that someone
else, such as your competition, will take advantage of and rise above you, and get in
front of your customers.
